The Icelandic fisheries sector has always been important for Norwegian shipbuilders and suppliers of machinery and equipment. This time also the Icelandic aquaculture sector attracts Norwegian interest among the exhibitors at the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibion 2017, 13th – 15th September in Kopavogur outside Reykjavik.
A short introduction to the various stands in the Norwegian pavillion:
Addcon Nordic AS present together with their marketing partner GC Rieber Salt AS solutions for the preservation of industrial fish and by-product – to keep it fresh with maintained nutritional value, to improve fish meal and oil quality
Brödrene Fürst AS is participating together with Riga Wood Sweden and show ships plywood and wet rooms panel for fishing ships
HydroScand AS is a part of an international company and is today the largest supplier of hydraulic hoses and fittings in Scandinavia.
Kvanne Industrier AS is presenting their KIAS Door system for humid surroundings and high hygenienic requirements.
Måløy Maritime Group – MMG is a cluster of 17 companies that all operate in the maritime industry in Måløy, Norway. This cluster offers a complete range of services to the fleet, undertaking all relevant operations, available 24/7.
NWP – Norwegian Weather Protection presents tailor-made hoods and covers, tarpaulins, delousing skirts, delousing tarpaulins, water basins and water transport bags. Lighting control tents and halls over tubs of all sizes etc.
SMV Hydraulic produce hydraulic winches and other hydraulic or mechanical products for the fishing fleet and fish farming.
All together there will be representatives from approximately 20 companies in the norwegian pavillion this year. The pavillion is organised by Scanexpo AS; working world-wide with the assistance of norwegian companies at exhibitions.
