The San Arawa owner is proud to announce the wild caught Argentine Hoki fishery, which they participate in, has just been awarded Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification.
The certification is a reflection of the very professional work done by the Argentine Federal Fishery Council in managing the fishery. Receiving MSC certification means the fish stock is healthy, there are minimal ecosystem impacts and an effective fishery management system is in place.
San Arawa is founded in 2002. San Arawa owns and operates two state-of-the-art factory trawlers which operate in Ushuaia. “The South of the South”, catching and processing Hoki fillets blocks, H&G fish and Surimi, all year-round; and supply its top-quality products to the most demanding customers around the world.
