SEFİNE Shipyard proudly announces that NB26 – LMG designed 150 PCU DE Car and Passenger Ferry named “Leiger” building for Port of Tallinn, Estonia has been successfully launched into the floating dock on 29th of February 2016 and she begun to sail successfully on 1st of March 2016.
The new Ferry is planned to be delivered in second half of 2016 and to be put into service for Rohuküla-Heltermaa route. NB26 is the first of the two under-construction double ended Car and Passenger Ferry for Port of Tallinn. NB26 and NB27 are 114 meter in length overall and 19,2 meter in breadth moulded with maximum 700 passenger and 150 car units, 12 trailers capacity and equipped in compliance with DNV classed, ICE-1A. Steel cuttings for NB26 and NB27 were held in April 2015 and are planned to be delivered in second half of 2016.
Sefine has also two under-construction ferry projects – NB28 and NB29. First steel cutting ceremony was held in April 2015 for the first of the two double ended ferries which will serve in Norwegian Seas between Moss and Horten with building numbers NB28 and NB29 with 142,9 meter in length, 20,7 meter in width, 600 passengers, 200 cars and 24 trucks ransportation capacity, equipped in compliance with DNV classed and ICE-C notation.
